The Daughters of D-Day project was started with the idea of telling and discussing the stories that we, as daughters of World War Two combat veterans of the Normandy campaign remember of our fathers. In telling the stories we hope that we might somehow better understand what our fathers experienced, how that changed who they were, and how that change impacted their lives and ours.
We have been contacted by men and women who are the sons, nieces, nephews (or otherwise connected) to these same WWII combat veterans expressing interest in joining the conversation and telling their loved one's story and we enthusiastically welcome them.
